Carrie A. Zuniga
Practice Summary
Carrie represents Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 debtors, as well as a Chapter 7 Trustee in consumer cases pending in federal bankruptcy court. Carrie has also appeared on several civil and probate matters in Lake, DuPage and Cook County.
Carrie concentrates her practice on consumer debtor bankruptcy litigation issues. She has won substantial recoveries for clients who were wrongfully harassed by debt collectors even though they were protected by their bankruptcy cases. She encourages her clients to forcefully defend their rights when creditors try to collect debts from them even after they have received their bankruptcy discharge.
